About Us

Emma Spragg

Emma has held leadership roles in some of the UK's largest charities for over twenty years. Currently Head of Local Services at Alzheimer's Society, she is experienced in developing and leading a range of strategic programmes and partnerships, working with teams across the UK. As Director with British Red Cross, she led crisis response teams during several major incidents, and was instrumental in establishing structures for the voluntary and community sector to work alongside emergency services. Before that Emma was at Age UK, setting up their national telephone friendship service and supporting local organisations to develop and grow services. Emma is also a trustee for a local well women charity near her home town in the north west. Outside work, Emma enjoys being Auntie, as well as Thai food, gardening, running and a spot of dj-ing - not all at the same time!
