ARCHIE Foundation

We're delighted to be supporting the ARCHIE Foundation, a charity which supports local children when they are in hopistal or require long-term medical treatment. 

Our donation has enabled an inclusive outdoor play area to be created at the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital, providing children and their families with much needed respite and outdoor fun in between receiving medical treatment. The new area will ensure that children of all ages and abilities have the opportunity to play and be active. 

Emma White, Head of Trusts and Foundation at the ARCHIE Foundation was delighted with the donation. She said: "All children should have play opportunities available to them, however, the old play aea on the grounds of the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital was closed and in need of refurbishment and repair. We were absolutel delighted when the Morrisons Foundation provided the funds to install specialist play equipment, we have been able to create a wonderfull inclusive and enhanced outdoor play area."
