Farleigh Hospice

Staff, patients and visitors at Farleigh Hospice were delighted to receive our donation of £10,000.

Our support has has covered the costs of much-needed new equipment and furnishings for three new inpatient bedrooms at the Chelmsford-based hospice. 

Debbie de Boltz, Head of Fundraising at Farleigh, said, "Farleigh Hospice is a charity that provides compassionate care and support for adults living with a life-limiting illness and their families, across mid Essex. We are very grateful to the Morrisons Foundation for this very generous grant of £10,000 for our Inpatient Unit.

“The support has enabled us to buy the essential equipment and furnishings we needed for three new rooms. With this additional accommodation, more local people can benefit from our specialist hospice care when they need it the most."

Farleigh Hospice provides care and support to adults living with life-limiting illnesses, and to their families and carers across mid Essex. The hospice focuses on what matters most to each person, helping them feel supported, comfortable and heard during a difficult time.

David Scott, Morrisons Foundation Trustee said: “I’m delighted that the Foundation has been able to provide this substantial donation of £10,000 to provide essential equipment and furnishings for Farleigh Hospice. Their vital work provides care to many people affected by life-limiting conditions and support to their families from all across the region and I’m very proud that we’ve been able to help in such a meaningful way.”
