Halton Haven Hospice

Runcorn’s Halton Haven Hospice, known locally as The Haven, were delighted to receive a grant of £9,000.

The Haven, which provides care to people with life limiting conditions and their families from all across the North West region, have purchased eight specialist chairs for their inpatient unit thanks to the support from the charitable arm of the supermarket.

Jacqueline Douglas, Grants Trusts and Legacies Officer at The Haven said: “Halton Haven Hospice would like to thank the Morrisons Foundation for their recent grant award to support our ‘Day Hospice Seating Project’.

“The grant will truly make a difference by enabling us to replace our tired old seating with new specialist chairs to make our patients more comfortable during their stay.  Support like this make it possible for us to continue to provide excellent care for people in our community with life limiting conditions.’’
