Jessie May Trust

Jessie May Trust is a children's hospice at home service providing care for teminally ill children in Bristol and the surrounding area. The charity provides respite care, emotional support and end of life care and bereavement support in the home for all children, young people and their families living with life limiting conditions. 

Colleagues from the Morrisons store in Fishponds were delighted to present a Foundation donation of £22,832 which will help Jessie May Trust to provide respite activity sessions and family fun days for children that the hospice supports. 

Julian Withers from Jessie May Trust said: "Being able to take part in fun activities as a family is hugely important and valuable as a coping strategy for the families we care for. Our respite activity days and family fun days are experiences that others take for granted, and allow children and their families to interact with others, feel less isolated and have fun whilst our nurses care for their medical needs."
