Match Funding - Mark Evans

The Morrisons Foundation's match funding boosts the money that Morrisons colleagues raise for their chosen charities.

Mark Evans from Morrisons Head Office finished a 56 cycle ride around Yorkshire, raising more than £3,300 for Love Musgrove's MRI appeal, a charity which aims to buy a new MRI scanner for Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton. 

When asked about his fundraising Mark said: "It really is a worthwhile cause and Claire and the Cardiology team have done a fantastic job in the 'Marathons for Musgrove' fundraising events which support the bigger 'Love Musgrove - MRI Million' campaign. 

I am really proud to have been able to participate in a few of the fundraising events and thank our Morrisons customers for their kindness and generosity when we did the bag packing at the Morrisons store in Taunton. 

I am also really pleased that the Morrisons Foundation, who do a lot of great work in supporting local charities across the country was able to donate £1,000 to the cause."
