Newark Community First Aid

Newark Community First Aid provides free-of-charge training and first aid support at local events. We have donated £1,900 to help them buy new digital radios which will help to improve their response time when an incident occurs. 

Philip Jessop from Newark Community First Aid said: “Radio communications in first aid is very important as it allows our volunteers to respond quickly to incidents and to call for further support and equipment if needed ensuring we provide quality care. In the case of cardiac arrest getting a defibrillator to a patient as early as possible after a collapse will make the difference between life and death.”
