Pilgrims Hospice

22 January 2018

Pilgrims Hospices run three hospices in East Kent, each with a 16 bed in-patient unit. The charity also runs day care services such as support groups and social activities.

Staff from the Morrisons store in Canterbury were pleased to present a £4,000 donation from the Morrisons Foundation, which will help Pilgrims Hospices to invest in new commerical kitchen equipment, enabling them to offer a wider variety of meals for patients and their families. The new equipment will also help to preserve food quality and reduce waste.

Ian Ashton from Pilgrims Hospices said: "We are pleased to have received such a generous donation from the Morrisons Foundation. The blast chillers will help us to cater to the individual needs of our patients and their families."
