We were delighted to support The Bronte Youth and Community Centre in Liverpool with a grant of £6,000.

Our grant will be used to purchase equipment for the youth club at their new building. This will include TVs, a projector,  gaming chairs, a games table, a football table and basketball equipment.

To celebrate the charity’s funding, Kim Johnson MP visited the youth club, saying: “The Bronte is a fantastic organisation at the heart of Liverpool - sparking inspiration and strengthening community spirit. Deeply embedded in our city's culture, it has been making a real difference to the lives of the Bronte community for generations.

"This funding will be transformative, empowering children and young people to fulfil their dreams and aspirations. The Bronte truly is a place for everyone”.

Laura Cain, Centre Manager at the Bronte Youth and Community Centre said “We are truly grateful for this grant received from the Morrisons Foundation. This support will have a lasting impact on our young people and help us continue to provide a safe, positive space for them with a fantastic range of activities. Thank you.”

Ruth Gibson, Community Champion at Morrisons New Brighton said “It’s an absolute pleasure to award this grant to The Bronte Youth and Community Centre. Supporting local good causes is at the very heart of what we do, and it is a real privilege to help such a fantastic group provide vital opportunities for the young people in our community."
