Yorkshire Air Ambulance

08 July 2018

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance provides a rapid response emergency medical service across the region. The charity brings emergency hospital care to criticially injured or sick patients, quickly reaching incidents in Yorkshire's rural, isolated or congested areas.

We're pleased to donate £10,000 towards a new Helilift - a piece of equipment which is used to safely move the helicopter on the ground.

Angela Vyas from the Yorkshire Air Ambulance said: "We're absolutely delighted to have been awarded the grant of £10,000 from the Morrisons Foundation. As an independent charity, we rely on the generosity of the people of Yorkshire to ensure the continuation of this life-saving emergency service. Grants such as this are vital to the charity and will help to continue to save lives across Yorkshire."
